Literally the opposite is true. Capitalism’s win condition is infinite growth which is quite literally impossible. Socialism’s win condition is everyone having their material needs met which is easily attainable.
BBC licence fee to be extended to YouTube, Netflix & Amazon.
This is completely unacceptable.
Those of us who have decided not to watch terrestrial TV should not be forced to pay for and prop up an outdated system.
Let the BBC sink or swim on its own.

I spoke about a windfall bank tax in my newspaper columns this week. My thoughts are that the big banks have been bailed out numerous times by taxpayers, & now they are back making huge profits; it's time for them to repay the debt to taxpayers, as winter approaches and help is needed with energy bills.
Billionaires making their fortunes in the UK, then packing up and leaving when it’s time to contribute a little more back to the country that helped make them rich.
There’s something pretty disgusting about having more than you could ever spend and still wanting to pay less.
BREAKING: 🇬🇧 British whistleblower and banker Simon Andriesz who reported evidence concerning Howard Lutnick, his links to Jeffrey Epstein found dead
The police claims it was “suicide”
Just a reminder when Fuel Prices finally start going down, they won't go down.
The Oil Companies and Supermarkets will add another 5p onto their profits, because why not, the Government won't do anything about it.
It’s strange how rising prices are treated as inevitable, while rising wages are treated as excessive. Everything gets more expensive without question, but the moment wages are expected to rise too, suddenly it’s a problem.
£100 a week just to put diesel in the car so I can get to work. A hundred quid. Every single week.
From Monday 28th September through to Saturday 31st October that's £500 gone on fuel alone. Half a grand.
The energy companies are stuffing billions into their pockets from people like me. The fat cats get fatter. I get poorer and this government couldn't give a shite.
That's the country we're living in. I'm literally just forgotten about.
“People wouldn’t create anything without a profit motive.”
Literally the entire internet was compiled almost virtually for free by nerds and randos. It didn’t start to suck until corporations turned it into a dystopian hellscape of ads and misinformation.
In Tescos. Bill comes to £6.30.
‘Do you wish to donate 70p to charity’
How about you donate 70p to charity, you’re the ones that made £3.1 billion profit last year.
Piss takers!
As the Earth gets hotter, the seasons get more extreme, & the disasters get closer to your home, there will be an increased focus on convincing you these conditions are the result of the many’s existence, instead of capitalism, which loots the world to line the pockets of a few.
I understand press speculation can concern @CAFCofficial fans, so let me address the Guardian story directly.
What I've said publicly several times before, is that this ownership group is seeking new investment to help us progress. This is similar to the route taken clubs like Ipswich, Wrexham and Bolton, and is not new news for Charlton.
I've been inundated with messages since the story broke. Please, don't be concerned. We are a Championship and WSL club, in a better position than we've been for 20 years. The 5 year plan requires we reach Championship average revenues by 2027-28, and we're increasing spend on players to back that.
This ownership group has been nothing but good for this club. We’re focussed on channelling all our energy into driving the club forward with our supporters and with that togetherness I'm confident we'll continue to achieve our ambitions for Charlton.
Meet the Directors, our bi annual CharltonTV present is scheduled for Thursday week!
Y’all obsessed with the idea that poor people might take more than they need, but we rarely question why some wealthy people are never satisfied with what they already have.
