He’s lovely. I met him about 2 years ago. I knew a man called ‘The Hammer’ who built me a cafe extension. He claimed Jimmy was apprenticed to him and got his name that way. So I sold Jimmy some kimchi (he was incognito scarf and hat at a farmers market) but I recognised his voice, and said I’ve been waiting to ask you something for 15 years, and he really laughed when I told him. He said it was mostly true, but that’s not how he got his name! It was a lovely moment of reminiscing as I think I caught him off guard and The Hammer was a legend! We chatted for a while and it was a real moment. He still lives locally.

You know the Internet started out as a sort of utopian place of freedom, and obviously the big businesses had to find a way to take control for exploitative purposes and social control purposes… I still have faith in humanity though. My opinion Russia is the main architect of disinformation. Those two Yandex server farms got hit in Russia, and the drop in activity of the bots was incredible for awhile.

I was searching on YouTube earlier for a video we made for a project I was working on, and I had a hell of a job trying to find it. It was all AI thumbnails for sensational slop.
