@philzfactz@Jimbeam32502377@AndyGraz_19 You’re basing everything off roster. Didn’t you learn anything from Trotz? Minimal lineup changes and added serious structure and solid systems and went from worst GA to league best. Not saying DeBoer will do the same but coaching DOES matter. Roy had passion but lacked systems.

@VinnysCorner1 Easy to say Potvin but he was at the end of his career and I was too young to appreciate it. I would say I became a diehard fan during the Palffy era even though the rest of the franchise was a disaster.
@MF1sles If he played how he played in OT (conscious about not turning it over AND also not afraid to shoot) all the time he would be right there with the elites of the league. It’s almost like (especially on the PP) he has too many options!
@stefen_rosner I’ve never seen it this bad. In a game the Isles should be up 4-3 they haven’t scored ANY. Wide, high, into traffic in front, you name it… 6 SOG in 33 attempts.
@DoctorOsty@stefen_rosner Wtf you mean the stick wasn’t the issue? It was a huge part of it. Sorokin had to go down to cover the five hole vulnerable because NO STICK and give Panarin the upper half of the net. Yes, it should’ve been cleared. Yes, his stick should’ve been pushed to him. Still huge part.
@DoctorOsty@stefen_rosner Same exact officiating crew as last night. Isles were pushing to tie and then that bullshit. Not to mention the very first LA goal where Kopitar knocked Sorokin’s stick away. I hate blaming officials; things usually evens out. This crew something smells fishy.
