They are already up on that investment, as Alpine's valuation has increased from $900 million to $1.1 billion over the last twelve months.

However, since Formula 1 is one of the world's most popular sports, Ryan Reynolds is now using it as a canvas to market his other projects.

F1 driver Esteban Ocon has worn a Deadpool-inspired helmet, and the Alpine F1 team will debut a special livery this weekend at the Belgian Grand Prix to help market Ryan Reynold's new movie, "Deadpool & Wolverine."

This advertisement will be seen by 75 million people — and it could lead to the movie breaking an opening weekend box office record of $170 million.
