@hyxkkimxru From their outfits I don’t think it’s a huge stretch to think they represent women’s fate in Japan in a generational way:
Far right represents Edo, then going left is Meiji, Taisho and then Showa being Hinako herself.
(The outfits are stereotypical of women from those eras)
