It’s obviously not so simple and there was testimony from witnesses that were more credible that testified that John was still moving and interacting with his phone after the “trigger event” what you can’t get past is the damage to her car vs to John.

Karen Read looks extremely strong and brave right now. She is trying to hold it together, clearly fighting back tears. Her lawyers are all hugging her, and each other. Bob Alessi is telling jokes to lighten the mood. They are all laughing.

My sources tell me that the jurors today were dressed in anything but loungewear. Up until today they were wearing more casual loungewear. Today they are dressed for success. It's almost as if they are expecting to reach a verdict today, based on their clothing.

Court just released the amended verdict slip for count 2 which includes instructions about the lesser included offenses. I'll post the original verdict slip under this one if you want to compare

@TedDanielnews The issue is they’ve reached a unanimous verdict on the serious charges but are hung on the OUI. There’s no option to check “not guilty” on the serious charges while being hung on the OUI.
