I’m definitely not anti law enforcement. I have relatives & friends as local LEO but my lifelong belief that 99% are good has been rocked. I like what Emily said about pointing out our tax dollars paying for blue paint! I’m also going to try to pull some of @adamdeitch points in his Accountability Agenda. Needs to be a quick elevator pitch to people.
Brigham nurses write to billionaires on MGB Board of Directors: Take responsibility for your actions. Treat nurses and patients better. Settle a fair contract.

Lads we have a true emergency, shite. We got a mate lost his passport on the way to the game. Apologies to my brother/sister @MBTA@mbta_alerts social manager but the Wakefield bagpiper just sent me this. If Helen from Scotland can send me to the cup, we can do this. Cuz BOSTON
Proctor’s Texts: Horrifying, Unacceptable, and Protected For Far Too Long
This is how racism affects criminal cases. Read the motion here:

After being robbed while running their lemonade stand, two South Boston kids are reopening for business TODAY.
The community is rallying behind them Friday at 5:30 PM at E & West 9th Street.
Even better, 50% of proceeds will be donated to help prevent violence.
I told one of my neighbors about Proctor & he said “oh yea you were into the Karen Read stuff” I said “It wasn’t stuff, it was corruption!” Some people don’t care & truthfully I never paid attention to DA races either until now. I did get 2 of my neighbors into watching Karen’s trials from my FKR house sign. Maybe I need a Google Former MSP Trooper Proctor house flag.
How many more? Former @MassStatePolice Trooper Proctor’s supervisors who consistently gave him glowing reviews ought to be investigated too. They knew. Morrissey knew. Greg Connor knows.
VOTE @adamdeitch for District Attorney.
Police officers are entrusted with extraordinary authority. With that authority comes a duty to act fairly, honestly, professionally, and impartially. When agencies fail to ensure that those entrusted with that authority are fit to exercise it, the consequences can be devastating
According to the civil complaint, the man put in writing his willingness to plant evidence against drug suspects. Plural. As in, more than once. Is there a person alive who thinks that if the jury had been aware of those statements, that jury would not have believed it was reasonably possible that Proctor assisted in the planting of taillight pieces that he and his supervisor (who have him rave reviews) found after it "revealed itself" over the course of 2 weeks? Would the jury find Proctor's testimony that he was not "looking for nudes" even less credible if it had been aware that he and Goode discussed the improper sharing of nude photos? We'll live praise for Hitler, mocking Anne Frank, embracing rape, shocking degrees of racism and other misogyny out of this.
Adam Deitch coming out swinging after Karen Read's lawsuit showed text messages between Michael Proctor and Sean Goode:
“Michael Morrissey should resign his position as District Attorney effective immediately. Today’s text message revelations represent a devastating blow to the credibility of the State Police Detective Unit in Norfolk County and to anyone who supervised them, including and especially Michael Morrissey.
Racism, bigotry, misogyny, and antisemitism have absolutely no place in the Massachusetts State Police and the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office. They are appalling and shocking and, under my leadership, will never be tolerated.
Today is another dark day for law enforcement in Norfolk County.”

If your organization endorses Greg Connor, you’re endorsing everything that occurred under his leadership including Michael Proctor’s disgusting racist texts and planting evidence on innocent people. Not a good look IW Local 7, I’d advise against it.
