Oklahoma City… The only city that loses the Western Conference Finals on Saturday and is building a new stadium by Monday. The only city that is building a new stadium and a new arena at the same time a few blocks apart, and will open both the same year we host seven events of the Olympics.
It’s a special time in OKC and today was a special day, as we broke ground on the MAPS 4 multipurpose stadium, which will host the USL and UFL and open the door to other opportunities. The stadium will also be a catalyst to a new development around the stadium, led by Echo, Christian Kanady, Mark Beffort, Russell Westbrook, Nick Gross, among others.
Thanks to everyone who made this day possible. Yeah, I know we lost the game on Saturday, but it’s still true that all we do is win in OKC. #1OKC
Jared McCain on his support from OKC fans: “Coming here to Loud City, they showed crazy amount of love. I'm scrolling on TikTok and I'll see my face on a latte.”
Game 7s on your home court is why winning the #1 seed is so important.
One game. The winner goes to the NBA Finals.
Loud City will be electric on Saturday night.
These Spurs are a bunch of home front-running cheap-shotting fake tough guys led by Wembanyama who sent his goons after the Thunder when he got HIS ass kicked in OKC.
Just to recap tonight's two big incorrect storylines.
1. Mitch Johnson has to call a timeout before a challenge. The refs were correct not to grant him a timeout.
2. Those guys dressed as nuns were Spurs fans, not OKC fans.
