Bored just chilling at work. At our smaller express location so I just can vibe, but there’s no one to talk to.

@_crxcker “I know my friends enjoyed that stuff. I’m a big fan of breakfast food.”

It just made sense to him.

“But I can’t think of anyone complaining ‘bout anything on the menu.”

Stuart continued to look over the breakfast menu.

“Yeah, I think I’m just gonna have waffles.”

Stuart wasn’t sure what he wanted to do.

He had interests, but they were never strong enough to call him to any certain path.

His parents were supportive, as long as he was working or trying to figure things out, they were fine with him staying at-

I hate wordle. I was great at sudoku. Those are the same kind of game. Why am I bad at the other one?

@_crxcker “Are you the type to order dinner at a diner, or breakfast?” He asked her.

Stuart was flipping through the book as well. He’d have to pick out of all the options on the menu. There was a lot to choose from.

@_crxcker “I like most of the breakfast menu they’ve got.”

The drive took only five minutes, as it was just down the road. When they parked and headed inside, he greeted someone who just stepped out of the diner.

He had some foods he was particular about, but a diner didn’t have-

I always talk too much when I get drunk at parties. Not so much when I get high. When someone’s bugging me I just talk about odd shit. I’ve talked about things m like the plot of a Nacy Drew game, where I would rank certain dark rides on a list, and what a loser Banksy is.

@_crxcker -pulled the old car out of the parking spot after Paula got settled in her seat.

“You’re gonna like it.”

@_crxcker He liked going there with his mates, when they had hung out before secondary school ended and they mostly went to Uni.

They always had good breakfast food. And good meals.

The owner knew his dad well, so he always liked going there.

“Yeah? Alright,” he beamed. Stuart-

@_crxcker He thought for a moment. There wasn’t anything new to the area in maybe a year? But he often liked going to the diner near by. Nothing fancy, but it was consistently good.

“I like the local diner. If you want to go somewhere else, I can think on that,” he offered.

@_crxcker He used the key to unlock it before getting in and starting up the car.

“What do you want to eat?” Stuart asked.

Stuart fiddled with the radio as she got seated.

@_crxcker “I guess your mum was right then?”

He walked in the direction of the car. He thought about asking her, building up the courage for a moment.

“Do you want to get something to eat?” Stuart offered.

@_crxcker He followed Paula as she walked out, also discarding his trash.

“I enjoyed it. Definitely a solid film,” he explained.

As the walked out of the hallway and into the main atrium of the cinema, he looked at her.

“Did you like it?”

@_crxcker He looked back at her after the film was over.

“Yeah,” he simply agreed, taking the tissue she offered. He wouldn’t bring attention to his tears.

“Thanks.” The blue haired man wiped his eyes.

Then he crumpled the tissue up in his hand and gathered his things to get up.

@_crxcker The scene was intense, especially knowing how many real people died. He watched as they fell into the water.

Stuart felt tears well up in his eyes. He tried to stop himself from letting them fall, but he couldn’t help it after a point.

Films really moved him.

@_crxcker -suggested they went out for dinner.

@_crxcker Stuart was glad that it got to that part. He liked the conflict from stuff like that in films.

As they watched the scene, he looked over at Paula before staring back at the silver screen.

He wondered if they’d be making it out alive. And wether she’d take his offer if he-

@_crxcker —He settled into his seat, barely making himself shorter, almost if it would make the sex scene move a bit faster.

@_crxcker They did cast the film well. Along with that, the sets and costumes looked good. How accurate? Who could say.

Stuart definitely felt a bit awkward when the scene started. Maybe not to the same level as if he were watching it with his parents in the room.
