This is the 10th @MGmotor MG5 we’ve purchased to date, there are a few reasons for this.
Reliability - over 470,000 miles covered between them and none have broken down. In fact we’ve spent less than £300 on part replacement.
Cost to run - We have these running over 240 miles for under £5
Tyre wear - we’ve seen 52,000 on one set. This was a facelift model.
Purchased cost - These are cheaper to buy than petrol/diesel equivalents.
The ❤️ - The techs love them, and many of them are pure petrol heads.
The scale of the flooding currently unfolding in Valencia, Spain is unfathomable. This is footage from Chiva, where a jaw-dropping 343 mm of rain was recorded in just 4 hours earlier today, between 4:30 PM and 8:30 PM.

In the last week, Labour hit a crucial milestone on getting rid of hereditary peers, unlocked £1bn funding for social housing insulation, initiated plans to regulate buy-now-pay-later lenders and started to coalesce around an HS2 replacement. Barely any chat about this at all.
So that’s the end of the ‘how long do the batteries last’ argument
CATL to give 10 year - 600,000 mile battery warranty to 85% of capacity
So not that they will only last 600,000 miles, they will have at least 85% of capacity at 600k miles
Life expectancy is at least 16 years or 900,000 miles

Next #Panorama can you do an episode on the £2,000,000,000,000
that went missing in the last government?
They stole £390 million a day for 14 years & if you don't make a programme about it they'll get away with it.
Remember when the public raged at @JustStop_Oil etc for blocking roads to try to alert the public to the magnitude of climate change in the face of an apathetic media….? This is the huge A2 motorway in Austria just outside of Vienna
Scientists called last summer 'unprecedented.' We have entered 'uncharted territory'. This summer has been even hotter.
As more and more records fall, the only question is: how long will our leaders fail to do what is required to avert disaster.
No time to wait. #ActOnClimate
🚨A recent leader column in @TheSun claimed that the Government wanted to get all petrol & diesel cars off the road in 2030
Sensational stuff, but completely wrong
We complained to @IpsoNews, and the Sun has been forced to issue a correction
A thread 🧵
