@saintsrlife @Saints The truly amazing thing about this is I don’t think many fans would have faulted him if he went to another organization looking for a Super Bowl in the time he has left in his career. He would’ve always been a saint, either way, but he chose to stay. Legend.
@the_ason@SwannMarcus89 Not in California. Google prop 13.
The short version is in CA your property taxes can only be raised a flat 1% per year over the purchase price of your home regardless of its current market value. This has been a state-level law since the 70s.
@redmanhsl@RosvoglouReport Injuries are definitely a thing but look at DA’s record with Carr in Oakland, and look at his record with Carr in New Orleans.
It didn’t work then and it doesnt work now.
@the_ason@SwannMarcus89 That means you can have people living in a $3M+ home, but if they bought it for a song in 1989, they’re paying taxes on the 1989 valuation. This means even in seemingly affluent areas of the bay the local services are starved for revenue.
@gjcharlet Also you can just go to the dances with your other friends who don't dance and hang out for a few hours without your parents hassling you. I speak from experience
@Go_DeeJay21 Excited to get the next bad season out of the way before Loomis has no choice but to admit that Dennis Allen exists only to transfer wealth from NFL teams to Derek Carr.
@tortiegirl601 @jameskarst Same thing is happening in California, they claim due to fires. Several insurers have left the state.
It was never about safeguarding people or property.
