In Nov 1897, after 2 German missionaries were killed in China, Germany sent forces to seize Kiaochow. Sensing opportunity, Russia seized Talienwan and Port Arthur. Then UK seized Weihaiwei, and France took Kwangchowan. No real provocation, it was purely predatory. When the Chinese rose up in fury in 1899, forces were sent by UK, Germany, France, Italy, Russia, USA, Austria-Hungary, Netherlands, Spain, and Belgium, to suppress them. Then Japan brutalized China during WW2, and we allied w/Japan and isolated China after the war. Despite it all, China has one foot, or at least a toe, in the world community. They might steal some IP and engage in shady diplomacy, but they haven’t done anything to compare with our side invading countries and overthrowing governments all over the world. A little less hypocrisy and more mutual respect can fix whatever’s wrong with the relationship, and if it doesn’t we’ll be in a better political and moral position for having tried it.
The state has always claimed the right to lock people up for peace activism during wartime, but no one ever gets thrown in jail for warmongering during peacetime.
These people are brain dead. Equipment and soldiers can be replaced, and Russia now has more experience in peer-to-peer modern warfare than any country on earth. Their military has been hardened and streamlined in battle. They’re a far more dangerous opponent now than in 2022.
Because Russia didn’t even do it in 2014, when human rights abuses against ethnic Russians were taking place all over Ukraine and the post-Maidan government & military were too weak and disorganized to oppose an invasion. If they wanted to do it, that would’ve been the time. Instead, they waited eight years while Kiev killed thousands of ethnic Russian civilians and NATO built up Ukraine’s military to its 2022 strength. Obama’s CIA Director in 2014 was Bush’s Ambassador to Russia in 2008, when he wrote to his bosses that the entire Russian leadership class considered militarization of Ukraine by NATO was “the reddest of all red lines.” Specifically, he said the Russians feared that it would foster unrest between western and eastern Ukraine, which could break out into civil war: “In that eventuality,” he wrote, “Russia would have to decide whether to intervene; a decision Russia does not want to have to face.”
Does that sound like a country champing at the bit for war with Ukraine?
🚨🇩🇪 AfD BYSTRON DESTROYS GATES-FUNDED SPIEGEL REPORTER‼️
AfD MEP Petr Bystron exposes an obnoxious SPIEGEL reporter:
“How independent is your reporting if Bill Gates pays you?”
He is totally SPEECHLESS! 🔥
FACT: SPIEGEL has received over $5.4 million from Gates!
@elonmusk Reading through the comments and the quotes of this is alarming. Americans believe the separation of powers means there are no enumerated rights. This order is like the President blocking Congress from legislating a bill.
More fallout from The Dept of Education’s anti-U.S. agenda
If a judge tried to tell a general how to conduct a military operation, that would be illegal.
If a judge tried to command the attorney general in how to use her discretion as a prosecutor, that's also illegal.
Judges aren't allowed to control the executive's legitimate power.
New York Judge Paul Engelmayer just forbade all political appointees — including Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent — from accessing Dept. of Treasury data, all based on Blueanon conspiracy theories!!
Those theories couldn't be challenged because the order was EX PARTE — meaning Trump's lawyers weren't warned, and couldn't weigh in. Only Democrat Attorneys General were allowed to argue.
The judge cites no law or logic to support this unprecedented order, because it defies both. The judge’s ruling is, in essence, that Scott Bessent simply occupies a ceremonial position without real power, like the King of England.
This is a grenade thrown into the functioning of the Treasury Department.
It forbids the elected government from accessing information about budget and finances. Instead, only the permanent, deep-state government can know what's being spent.
It means Scott Bessent's subordinates have far more power than Scott Bessent does.
Democrat pundits who whine about the Constitution are liars, and will shred it the first chance they get.
For now, the order is only for the next week, but if a court tries to make it permanent the Trump Administration should absolutely consider defying it.
Better yet, SCOTUS should bar this judge from ever hearing similar cases again, and every Democrat lawyer involved should be sanctioned.
Dear @elonmusk,
We purchased the Pennsylvania voter rolls & are using AI technology to detect fraudulent voter registrations.
We found active voters registered in both PA & other states.
Perhaps we can create the Department of Voter Efficiency (DOVE).
Let’s chat.

Holy shit, Trump did it!
The USAID is being SHUT DOWN! They just took the letters off the building!
No more pet projects funding the woke ideology around the world!
OUTSTANDING!
Um okay.
I oppose diversity, equity, & inclusion as the trio always been a Trojan horse for communism, bloated government, unaccountable spending, and an anti-meritocratic state poorly packaged as love and justice and sold to mid-IQs.
