Booster 23 has been moved back to the production site where it MAY be prepared for transport to Cape Canaveral for integration testing with the Pad-C OLM, but who knows.
Very excited we can announce this: NBC will be live for **13 hours** on Election Night/overnight, starting at 5pm.
And....concurrent with this...I am going to be doing the livestream!! That will go up at 5:30 and I'll stay on all night with results, results, results.
This is only happening because so many of you tuned in and helped us spread the word this primary season. Can't thank you all enough for that. I really hope you'll join us for what is going to be an epic, all-night experience - and again help us spread the word far and wide! Can't wait for 11/3!

- More lunar contracts awarded
- The future of SLS??
Another "fun" detail from today's Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel meeting concerning the ISS. If the space station's lifetime is extended from 2030 to 2032, it is likely the US Deorbit Vehicle (a modified Dragon spacecraft) would launch on a non-Falcon rocket.
@Bloabifi I'll do an Artemis III stacking thread for ship and booster but that might be where I stop all of them excluding my Artemis ones because they are genuinely useful unlike my Starbase ones lmao
@Bloabifi That's exactly what I did with B22 and S42, so now those are stacked Ive just stopped doing stacking updates because they are boring as shit to make
Incredibly honoured to have been asked to serve as Special Advisor to Minister Joly and the Prime Minister of Canada. As I begin this next chapter, I’m grateful for another opportunity to serve Canada.
C’est un immense honneur d’avoir été invité à agir à titre de conseiller spécial auprès de la ministre Joly et du premier ministre du Canada.Alors que je commence ce nouveau chapitre, je suis reconnaissant de pouvoir à nouveau servir le Canada.
First recorded Starship Gasifier test today at Mcgregor LSCS by @NASASpaceflight cameras. They've been testing this system for a while but almost always missed because of how generally quiet they are. This test in particular is 12 minutes in duration
For the uninitiated the gasifier they are developing is a small dual pump+burner combo that will be installed within the ship in the near future, intended to extend it's orbital lifespan by allowing it to generate gaseous oxygen and methane from its existing liquid propellant stores primarily to maintain pressure in the tanks for long duration missions, but also to supply hot gas thrusters and perform tank settling, without igniting the Raptors. (The large fire is normal, that's the hot gas exhaust directed pretty much directly opposite the view of the camera)
