On Distinction between contradiction in evidence and discrepancy in evidence -
There is a distinction between contradiction in evidence and discrepancy in evidence. Evidence contradicts another evidence when it says the opposite of what the other evidence say on a material point. The contradiction must be fundamental and substantial before it can affect the prosecution’s case. Discrepancy, on the other hand, is a minor difference in details and this is allowed in proceedings. If a witness gives evidence on oath which contradicts his previous statement in writing, his evidence should be treated as unreliable. On the other hand, minor discrepancies between previous written statement and subsequent testimony on oath do not in any way affect the credibility of the witness. If are no discrepancies, there would be strong inference or suspicion that the witness has been tutored
In effect, it is not every minor inaccuracy in the evidence of prosecution witnesses that amount to contradiction, especially where the witnesses are substantially saying the same thing. Indeed, miniature conflicts in evidence which do not affect the substance of the case are inconsequential. That is to say, it is only material contradictions capable of attracting disbelief from the court to the case of the prosecution which would likely upturn the decision of the court that is relevant.

Unrelated: law is a profession that don't necessarily need certification to prove your expertise. Except you want to specialize in certain areas of law, then certification is required.
Make ICAN even restrict how many times you can take a diet.
Once you fail a diet twice, you should be prohibited from writing the exam for like 3 years.

Great idea. I have a colleague that built a site for this. The landlord only needs to accept the offer from his and the tenant proceeds to payment. I am not sure if it has been tested yet, but that's a good innovation.
Why don’t we have a rent agency apps in Nigeria 🤔🤔🤔🤔.
An app that you can search for houses you want in a state or nearby location. You see videos of the flat, the building and the street in the comfort of your room.
You see the specifications of what is available and what is not available, you see the rent rate flat, the legal fees, the agency fees and all.
You can then decide to go and check it out before you pay on the app.
The app could find a way to on-board agents directly or partner with landlords, they would also have their personnel that go and check the properties and take the quality pictures.
This old style of asking one person who knows someone that knows someone is really frustrating and pointless.
Is there any start up doing this or fixing the issue already 🤔🤔🤔🤔.

*CDCFIB SHORTLIST STATUS UPDATE*
We wish to address concerns currently being raised by numerous CDCFIB applicants regarding the ongoing shortlist verification process.
It has come to our attention that many applicants who initially checked their status were not shortlisted. In addition, some applicants who previously appeared on the shortlist later revisited the portal and discovered that their status had changed and were no longer shortlisted.
Based on information available at this time, these irregularities may be connected to ongoing portal updates and processing activities. Applicants are therefore advised to remain calm and exercise patience while the verification and update process continues.
We strongly urge applicants not to panic or conclude that they have been permanently disqualified. The portal is still undergoing reviews and updates, and changes may continue to occur as the process progresses.
Applicants who were previously shortlisted but can no longer shortlisted are encouraged to remain patient, as further updates may restore or adjust their status accordingly. Likewise, applicants who are currently not shortlisted should continue to monitor the portal, as additional updates and reviews may still take place.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide timely updates as more official information becomes available.
We encourage all applicants to stay informed through our platform and avoid misinformation from unverified sources.
