Andy Burnham has refused to call for a General Election. What a complete hypocrite.

This is the same man who demanded a General Election when Rishi Sunak became Prime Minister, arguing that he had “no mandate from the people.”

So what’s changed?

If Burnham believed a Prime Minister without a public mandate should face the electorate then, why doesn’t the same principle apply now?

It seems the principle only matters when it suits his politics.

That’s not consistency, it’s hypocrisy.

I’ve spoken to hundreds of people and not one of them has admitted to voting labour in the last general election. They must be ashamed.
