🚨 LAND PRICES TOO HIGH? JUST MOVE TO THE LAKE! 😂🌊
A man has apparently taken the housing crisis to another level by building a floating house on Lake Victoria. Forget mortgages, landlords and rent hikes — this one comes with a permanent water view.
@sholard_mancity I wish we had patriotic kenyans able to unravel this puzzle beyond the veil of political fanatism, a detailed contract laying bare the operational cost and the guarantee incase of failure who bears the cost. Experts declared the ADANI deal bad for country after expert analysis
Shock as a Ugandan MP campaigning for Kasongo and openly saying that Ugandans will cross into Kenya to vote for him. 👀.

A DCI officer who found out that Ruto’s regime was handing over IDs to Ugandans and registering voters was warned against interfering and days later he was transferred.
Listen,
Before you commit to marrying a woman,
Scrutinize her family.
Know her culture, beliefs and traditions.
Don't marry a woman whose family's beliefs and traditions conflict with yours.
Marry a woman whose cultural beliefs are in agreement with your beliefs.
She and her family must agree to let her become subservient to your family and even religion.
If she is SDA, and you are Catholic, she must abandon SDA and become a Catholic.
She has no excuse for insisting on being SDA. If she is not ready, end the commitment immediately.
Know her parents.
You might be marrying a woman whose father is a night-runner and whose mother is a witch.
Her parents must first respect your parents.
You are doing them a favour by marrying their daughter. Otherwise, she would be a burden to them, fighting her mother, competing with her brothers, and leaving behind a chain of fatherless babies.
If her parents despise your parents because they think your parents are poor, or because they are of a community they loathe, then don't commit.
You must get this right.
Don't just meet a woman in the streets or in college, start an affair, and then impregnate her, and then marry.
This is starting on the wrong footing.
Understand her origin.
• Where does she come from?
• Who is her father?
• What is her family history
• Where are her elder sisters? Are they married?
Otherwise, you will discover serious wounds that were hidden from you, and it will be too late to undo the damage.
Don't marry these rudderless, uncouth, alcoholic women of the city.
They will become an unnecessary burden in your life.
In the end, you and the children will suffer.
But most of you think that because you went to Harvard, have a PhD, and drive a Porsche, you are so clever.
Families that disavow their cultural source will eventually collapse.
Controller of Budget Margaret Nyakang’o reveals Busia Governor Paul Otuoma spent sh 484,603,541 to construct a 6km road leading to his village home in Bunandi.
Ruto just walked through Dangote’s Lagos refinery.
That plant works for one simple reason: Nigeria has oil. Will the Kenyan one work?
Dangote refines about 700,000 barrels a day. It wants to grow to 1.4 million. In one year, it used about 193 million barrels. Around 60% of that oil came from Nigeria. Up to 350,000 barrels a day can come from local supply deals.
That is a refinery sitting in an oil-producing country.
Lamu is also planned at 700,000 barrels a day. Kenya is not an oil country at that scale.
Turkana starts at about 20,000 barrels a day. Even the bigger later estimates are 50,000-120,000 barrels. That cannot feed Lamu.
Uganda’s oil is going to Tanzania through EACOP. South Sudan already sends oil through Port Sudan. After the war, ships to India and Europe may still prefer Port Sudan because it is shorter.
So Lamu will have to import crude. Where will we get the crude?
That is not “our oil.” It is a huge, expensive refinery; it would have to buy crude from the world market.
Fuel will not become cheap. You still pay world prices, shipping, financing costs, and Kenyan taxes.
If this is not a gamble, tell me what it is.
