Dublino: Yves Sakila ucciso. L’uomo è stato identificato come Yves Sakila, cittadino del Congo, di circa trent’anni.

Quando si sono accorti che era morto, hanno guardato in faccia l’uomo che gli teneva il ginocchio sul collo, come se non sapessero che il peso e la pressione di una persona di 90 chili gli avevano spezzato il collo.

A Dublino è stato ucciso dopo che la sicurezza aveva allertato la polizia per un presunto furto. Alcune persone ridevano mentre veniva immobilizzato fino alla morte. Successivamente è emerso che probabilmente si trattava di un falso allarme: non è stato trovato nulla addosso al ragazzo. Le indagini sono ora in corso per chiarire se vi sia stato davvero un furto o un grave errore. Nel frattempo, le comunità migranti denunciano un crescente clima di razzismo e discriminazione in Irlanda.

Anche se avesse davvero rubato, è accettabile che una persona venga uccisa così, davanti a tutti, senza prove e senza resistenza? È questa la giustizia che vogliamo difendere? La domanda che mi pongo è semplice: se fosse stato bianco, sarebbe stato trattato allo stesso modo?

Ciò che sconvolge ancora di più è vedere persone ridere mentre un uomo muore. Questa è la disumanizzazione più brutale. Il razzismo sta trasformando l’Europa in un luogo dove la vita di alcune persone sembra valere meno. Non posso credere che, se fosse stato bianco, sarebbe finita allo stesso modo. Questa morte chiede verità, giustizia e coscienza.

@acm_spina14 La domanda e': e' fallo? Se la risposta e' si', credo che anche a palla lontana il fallo debba essere fischiato. A quel punto il fallo, essendo fatto in area, o merita un calcio di punizione in area (cosa abbastanza rara, credo), oppure e' rigore... influisca sull'azione o no.
