@hawkinsw I feel your pain. I recall an Android perf measuring training you did for my team when you were at Mozilla that I still recall and use as reference. I’d be willing to bet you have impacted your students and colleagues since then in similar ways. You matter and make a difference.

@germany_iam I just moved to Berlin with my wife and two kids, and the devil is definitely in the details. The things we knew about (like learning German) aren’t what’s making it difficult, it’s all the little things like banks and broadcast fees and schools and landlords making us struggle.

@thehomelike I just rented an apartment today and at fist the deposit was listed at 1600 € but now it has increase to over 2400€. Changing the agreement after I have booked is not something I’m okay with.
