This breaks my heart.

I’ll be honest and clear: Destiny has been my favorite game and my home for the last 12 years.

My heart goes out to every hardworking developer affected by this. You helped create something special, and I will always support the people who made Destiny great.

I feel absolutely gutted.

Sony leadership would be making a massive mistake by allowing a franchise this iconic to die. If Destiny dies, PlayStation will die too.

If Sony goes through with this, I’ll be done with the PlayStation ecosystem. I’ll sell my PlayStation, my PS Portal, and every Sony product I own. The games. The hardware. Everything.

And I will make my voice heard. I will speak out, contact leadership, share my opinions publicly, leave bad reviews, and support every effort to fight for Destiny’s future. I refuse to stay silent while a 12-year legacy is dismantled.

@hermenhulst and PlayStation leadership need to hear this loud and clear: Destiny matters. Its community matters. The developers matter.

I don’t care about your NDAs. I am not afraid of Sony. I will do everything in my power to do to PlayStation what they are doing to Destiny. I will not be deterred.

We are not giving up on Destiny.
