We’re still here.
Jesus Christ did NOT break the law..
Pilate, the governor of Judea at the time of Jesus said “I find no fault in him (Jesus).” When passing judgement Christ. So even those who crucified him knew he wasn’t breaking the law.
Christ was crucified for challenging the religious power of the Pharisees, not the political power of Rome. In fact, Christ said to his followers “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.” when asked if they should break the law by not paying their taxes.
He told his followers to obey the law, not interfere with law enforcement.
Jesus Christ wasn’t that kind of rebel. He knew where the real battles are, and knew where the law was just.
Barabbas was a known murderer and insurrectionist. Christ didn’t willingly save Barabbas from the cross, because Christ knew that Barabbas, for all his crimes, belonged up there. A man who broke federal laws belonged at the receiving end of the consequences. That’s why Christ didn’t offer himself in Barabbas’s place.
The CROWD chose Jesus to be crucified in Barabbas’ place.
… Today, Jesus would know that these people - Renee Good & Alex Pretti - are violating the law, and should face the consequences.
Honestly, if Jesus showed up to protests and used his chariot to block the Roman Legionnaires from arresting thieves, murderers, & child-rapists, and then hit one with his chariot, or even came threateningly close…
… OR if he showed up to a protest and used his body to block the Roman Legionnaires from arresting child-rapists & human traffickers…
… I probably would say “He should’ve obeyed the law”.
But that wasn’t our Savior.
@_713vinyl@heyyitsjanea As a matter of fact, I do understand jury selection.
They select based on the way questions are answered, not based on the color of a jurors skin and how it compares or contrasts to the color of a defendant’s skin.
I literally just had jury duty two weeks ago.
@Timcast I am genuinely shocked that Rep. Luna survived this horrific attack.
She must be made of the hardest steel to be able to walk away from this unscathed. All the more reason we need her on the ticket with Vance in 2028.
She can be his VP AND his bodyguard.
@sippicup2@SarahisCensored These people need to be made an example of.
Anyone doing this outside of a courthouse in the midst of court proceedings that have garnered major attention/controversy needs to be arrested.
Stay safe.
Keep Sarah protected. She’s a national treasure.
@KyleMcCordMuse You think he was killed because he posted a picture with a gun?
Not because he drew a gun on someone and they defended themselves?
The fact that you’ve managed to survive this long while being THAT stupid proves that western society truly does take great care of the disabled.
@LASHYBILLS Teach kids that a graduation ceremony is a long-held tradition that has a level of decorum. Honor it.
Take the stage to shake hands with educators & leave with a diploma.
Don’t take the stage to turn it into your personal performance.
Stop being ghetto narcissists.
@camhigby Democrats would let their entire state populations die, whether at the hands of criminal gangs, federal law enforcement, or a pandemic, if it means that Dem leaders could climb atop the mountain of bodies & point a finger at Trump and say “I can’t believe you did this.”
@camhigby Cool.
Overall, I’m just glad you’re alright.
Stay safe, but keep doing your work.
It’s important and my wife and I are big believers in what you’re doing.
@camhigby Wouldn’t it be an odd poetic justice if their phones and bodycams got stolen, smashed, and then they called the National Guard to help, but the National Guard never showed up?
@SarahisCensored The funny thing is when they tell this story to their Discord chat, they’ll say you were speechless and crying, and that you blocked them.
