Even after the traditional mass pilgrimage at #Namugongo shrines has been canceled due to the #Ebola outbreak, let's join local parishes as we commemorate the lives of young men whose courage, faith, and unwavering conviction inspire generations.

Period education empowers everyone with knowledge, challenges harmful myths, and promotes dignity, health, and inclusion.
When everyone understands menstruation, we move closer to a world free from stigma and discrimination.

Expanding access for adolescent girls and young women, especially young mothers, helps them understand the options available to them and make decisions about their health and well-being.

#Resilience is the ability to adapt, recover, & move forward despite challenges.
It protects #mentalhealth by helping people cope with stress, recover from setbacks, & maintain emotional well-being during tough times.

All men play a crucial role in preventing #GBV by challenging harmful norms, attitudes, & practices that hinder women's progress, toward ending violence & safeguarding their rights & opportunities to thrive without leaving anyone behind.

A #PeriodFriendlyWorld is a global vision where periods are never a barrier to dignity, education, or opportunity.
It advocates for a society free from stigma where everyone can access safe hygiene facilities, affordable menstrual products, & accurate education.
#EndPeriodPoverty
#GenderEquality is everyone's responsibility.
Engaging men & boys as allies helps challenge harmful norms, prevents violence, & creates safer, respectful, & equitable spaces where women & girls can thrive, lead, & reach their full potential🤝

#SRHR is rooted in human rights to make decisions about one's body, sexuality, & reproduction without discrimination, coercion, or violence.
Let's hold local policymakers accountable to ensure universal, stigma-free, youth-friendly services & comprehensive sexuality education.
Earlier this week, our team was at Wamatovu Primary School in Mpigi, engaging students and community members in meaningful conversations around menstrual health, dignity, and education.
As part of the EcoJua SmartBags Post Accelerator Project supported by MAJI Fund and Siemens Stiftung through the cewas Accelerator, 20 EcoJua SmartBags were distributed to 20 students to help them manage their periods with confidence and continue pursuing their education.

We were humbled to be trained by the Human Trafficking Institute on trafficking in persons and human sacrifice.
Our facilitator Gabby Massey, the Country Director of the Human Trafficking Institute, highlighted key provisions of the Prevention of Trafficking in Persons Act and the Prevention and Prohibition of Human Sacrifice Act.
She emphasised what amounts to trafficking, human sacrifice and best practices on victim protection, identification and reporting.
We remain committed to capacity building and partnerships to free women and girls from all forms of discrimination and violence.
In this clip, our guest speaker SSP @MucunguziJackso reminds us that ending childhood sexual violence requires collective action.
No single organization, institution or individual can tackle this challenge alone.
Working alone limits our impact but when communities, families, schools, law enforcement, civil society organizations and government come together, we become a stronger force for prevention, protection and justice.
Together, we can #EndChildhoodSexualViolence and create safer spaces for every child.
