@palebloodstasi I think I remember reading somewhere that we use more land for golf courses than houses at the moment. There's loads of golf courses in towns/suburbs asking to be built on.
@keewa I can't shake the feeling that he's just another member of the "Verso industrial complex" with a book to flog. A bit like Blakeley is/was, but he's definitely ruffled more feathers. Maybe I'm just too pessimistic.
@bierkonceagain I was pretty supportive of it until I saw the reality of it's implementation in this hell world. It could be a really humane thing in a society that actually cares about people.
@jrc1921 He was a big Nandy fan during the leadership election and a Corbyn fan before that, just a useless weather vein. Not surprising to see him selected as the candidate, he always was the loudest most overpowering voice in those meetings.
This morning, one of our staff members in #Gaza told us:
โThere are dead people on the streets. We see people being shot at. We can see injured people. We hear them crying for help, but we cannot do anything. It is too dangerous to go outsideโ
A testimony from a young journalist in Gaza named Bisan. Please watch. This is heartbreaking and terrifying and no mainstream media outlet will report it.
