Supply chain is getting a lot of attention lately. Truth is, it’s chaotic and pressure-driven. Some days you’ll question why you’re in it, especially in manufacturing. But those are the days that build the instincts separating good from great. #SupplyChain#Manufacturing
Finance folks defending policies that only work on paper while their quality of life keeps declining just to maintain some fake sense of intellectual superiority. If the economics never translates to real life, what does that tell you, Einstein?
Update on Abba, the NYSC corps member who was abducted:
Since receiving the ₦10 million ransom payment, Abba's abductors have completely cut off all communication with his family.
Given the situation, the family has decided not to pay any more ransom (including the bikes his abductors requested after the initial payment).
Abba’s family are preparing to hold his Janaza prayer (Gha’ib) on Friday, 6th March, in accordance with Islamic rules.
Abba’s family wishes to express their profound gratitude to everyone who offered support, prayers, donations, and kind words during this ordeal. May the Lord be pleased with you all and reward your generosity abundantly.
We continue to pray: if Abba is still alive, wherever he may be, may the Lord grant him strength and swift release. If he has passed on, may Allah forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, and grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus. Ameen.
Please keep the family in your prayers during this difficult time.
You’ll come online and tens of videos of bandits brutalizing and dehumanizing people including women & children, & this is a country that budgeted N6.62trillion on defense but can’t use intelligence to track these ragtag animals. We have zero security intelligence in this country
If America doesn’t turn us into another Iraq, this pressure will be the best thing that has happened to us in a long time. Abuja is too comfortable in a clime where life is so cheap.
WE DEMAND JUSTICE FOR ENGINEER ABDULRAHEEM MUSTAPHA.
@Abdoulrahiem@PoliceNG_CRU@PoliceNG
Engr. Abdurraheem Mustapha Abubakar was a graduate of ABU Zaria, currently working with a construction company in Abuja. Alongside his job, he was pursuing his Master’s degree in Engineering at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna, where he attended weekend classes.
Last friday, 29th August-2025 On his way to NDA for lectures, near Garkuwa Junction, he was tragically killed in an incident involving a Kaduna State Police van. The police vehicle hit the motorcycle (“Okada”) he was riding on, and afterwards, an officer struck him on the head with a heavy bamboo stick (“Kokara”).
Eyewitnesses at the scene confirmed what happened. However, instead of taking responsibility, the police carried him to the station and allegedly made a false statement claiming that his motorcycle had collided with a car, which they used as justification for their actions.
The police, who are supposed to protect lives, ended up taking one in cold blood. This is injustice of the highest order, and we demand justice for Engr. Abdurraheem.
