BREAKING: At 10am this morning, Thai T-50 supersonic trainer jets dropped four bombs into a village deep within Cambodian sovereign territory, located in Banan district, Battambang province, according to the Ministry of National Defence. This marked the first time the South Korean-made jets have been used to strike Cambodia.
Thailand always claims that Cambodia opened fire first—but what the fuck is this? How can you talk about peace with actions like this? Attacking at 2 a.m. for what, while Cambodian people were sleeping?
You are completely out of mind right now Siam.
Thailand is the source of the invasion.

If you trigger a landmine, it means you’ve trespassed and entered Cambodian territory. So why blame Cambodia for consequences you brought upon yourself? Remain within your own borders, and there will be no problems

Phnom Penh, August 12, 2025: Her Excellency Lieutenant General Maly Socheata, Under Secretary of State and Spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia, categorically dismisses all baseless allegations made by Thailand against Cambodia relating to the injuries sustained by Thai soldier from mine explosion at Tamone Thom Temple area on August 12, 2025.
The Ministry of National Defence of Cambodia firmly rejects any accusations lacking clear and unfounded evidence from the Thai side related to the injuries of Thai soldier caused by the mine explosion at the Tamone Thom Temple area, Banteay Ampil district, Uddor Meanchey province, Cambodia, on August 12, 2025.
Cambodia maintains its firm stance that Cambodia has absolutely not and will not use or plant any new landmine. Cambodia is a proud state party to the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention, which it ratified in 1999, and has been recognized by the international community for its demining efforts at home and abroad. Cambodia notes that up to this point, no official and transparent investigation has been carried out to establish the facts surrounding this incident. Furthermore, Cambodia has reminded Thailand on multiple occasions that these areas still have explosives which are the remnants of war. In this sense, all parties should refrain from making public conclusion before finding out the truth so as to provide justice and to avoid misunderstanding that could escalate tension and confrontation.
Cambodia reiterates its firm, clear-cut and unwavering commitment to respect and strictly implement the Ceasefire agreement achieved on July 28, 2025, and the 13-point Agreed Minutes reached during the extraordinary meeting of Cambodia-Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) on August 7, 2025, with observers from Malaysia, the United States of America and the People's Republic of China.
Cambodia calls on Thailand to honor all terms and conditions stipulated in the ceasefire agreement as well as the spirit and agreement during the extraordinary GBC meeting which states that both sides are in agreement to maintain their current troop deployments without further movement as it is at the time the ceasefire reached at 24:00 hours (local time) on 28 July 2025. There shall be no troop movements including patrol towards the other side's position.
Once again, Cambodia launches appeal to Thailand to strictly adhere to the spirit of ceasefire agreement so as to move towards a resolution that both sides had agreed including through the Regional Border Committee (RBC) meeting and the Cambodia-Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) meeting, to be held in the near future.
The full implementation of the ceasefire agreement by both parties will foster a favorable environment which will bring about peace, stability and normalcy in the relationship between the two countries which are not only the aspirations of both nations but also that of the international community as a whole, as proven by their various messages of congratulations and support for the ceasefire accord and positive outcomes resulting from the extraordinary GBC meeting between Cambodia and Thailand.
Cambodia is firmly determined to work constructively, in good faith, and in close cooperation with Thailand, Malaysia, the United States of America, the People’s Republic of China, other fellow ASEAN member states, and all relevant partners to ensure the ceasefire’s full and effective implementation and resolve all disputes by peaceful means, in accordance with international law, UN Charter and the ASEAN Charter.
This isn’t just about politics, this is about human lives. Our soldiers deserve to return home. Holding them after a ceasefire is a betrayal of peace and international law.

There are moments in life that leave scars no time can erase. Moments where your heart breaks so deeply, it changes who you are. I saw soldiers fall. Innocent people suffer elders, children, even pregnant women running for safety. And for what? We never asked for war. We were only protecting what is rightfully ours. And yet… they came. They hurt us. They took our people. They caused pain that still echoes in every corner of my country.I try to find peace in my heart, but I can’t. Because deep down… I still can’t forgive what the Thai side has done to us.Why must we suffer for simply defending what is ours? My heart can’t accept this…
