From the humble beginnings of @holbertonschool , 8 years ago in Silicon Valley, we dreamed of a world where quality tech education wasn’t a luxury but a right accessible to all. Our genesis was fueled by passion, ambition, and a firm belief in the transformative power of education. Fast forward, and today we’ve not only ventured into the vast, vibrant terrains of Africa with @alx_africa , but we’ve also made marks in cities like Johannesburg, Cairo, Kigali, and beyond. Each hub stands as a testament to our commitment, each student’s success story echoing our mission’s resonance.

Last year, joining hands with ALX and under the vision of @FredSwaniker , our tech education journey took a leap. We grew exponentially, both in reach and impact. From merely an online presence to establishing physical hubs across Africa, we adapted to ensure every student, regardless of their circumstances, could access world-class education.

While our full-time ALX Software Engineering #ALX_SE program redefined tech learning and churned out digital leaders, we identified a gap. Many couldn’t dedicate 80 hours a week due to their job commitments. Hence, the "Introduction to Software Engineering" was born - a testament to our agility and our pledge to inclusivity. The response? A wave of thousands of registrations, illustrating the potent combination of unmet demand and boundless aspiration.

Today, the winds of change bring forth a new announcement, one that we believe will redefine the education landscape in Africa.

Introducing the 3-Year ALX Software Engineering/Data Science program for high school graduates. This program paves the way from high school to a globally recognized university degree. From mastering leadership in Year 1, diving deep into the tech universe in Year 2, to specializing in a tech domain in Year 3, we’ve meticulously designed this to mold not just professionals, but pioneers.

For those wondering about flexibility – we've infused this initiative with a hybrid learning approach. Whether you’re nestled in the heart of Nairobi or in a remote corner, our doors, both physical and digital, are open to you.

And “one more thing”, something monumental not just for students, but also for their parents and guardians: upon successful completion of the program, our students will receive a degree from one of our esteemed university partners. They will grant you the BSc – a tangible testament to your hard work, passion, and the world-class education you've received.

So, to every coder, innovator, and visionary out there: The stage is set. With ALX, you’re not just gaining an education; you’re embracing a movement. The digital realm awaits your footprints, and with ALX, you’re destined to leave an indelible mark.
