@opiumgrooves@RightWingCope if ben shapiro is your barometer for intelligence, that’s more indicative of you being on the short end of the stick than the rest of us lol.
i assume by can’t shoot you’re talking about his 3pt shooting splits but “if it’s not close to the basket it’s not going in probably” is asinine. he’s easily got the best turnaround jumper in the class and probably the best mid range game overall they aren’t easy shots either. Not saying it’s gonna happen but typically speaking mid range touch is a good indicator of a 3pt shot developing.
@blueknowls@HanaHoops I mean it’s not a hard concept to grasp, if less countries like cricket then it’s got a smaller cultural outreach. Not only that practically every single country cricket’s popular in was subjected to long term british colonialism.
@blueknowls@HanaHoops maybe in terms of pure number of people because all of south asia loves cricket, but from a cultural standpoint it’s basketball. cricket has basically no cultural outreach in the western hemisphere.
@RGIII@Commanders@OuttaPocketRG3@sonnystyles_ most of these clips are transition/assisted dunks or blocked shots. in what world would a 6’5 non shooter with no handle or self creation translate to the nba? this is an offensive liability at even a mid major level in cbb lol.
@GoodmanHoops saying this as a cbb reporter who loves metric systems like kenpom, bart torvik, and evan miya is hilarious because the metrics indicate that melo is the most valuable player on the hornets lol.
@HEATSportsOG@HeatCulture13@hornets “won a few games in a row” and it’s a team that has the best metrics and record of the new year with wins over 4 of the top 5 seeds in the west including 3 double digit wins in road environments in those games.
@CountyPolk@Jayy_Hardyy252 I think we bring in kayden mingo. Juke I think actually might be dependent on where is projected in the draft, and if forbes gets canned. I think he more than likely stays at wake if forbes gets another year but if not we might have a good chance.
yea honestly think we retain some of those guys but I do expect a lot of them to portal as well. I’d say most likely to portal is probably kyan and denis, i’d actually be surprised if they stay. in regards to bogi and jpowell, I think we retain one and lose the other. Young is a hard read because he committed took less money and understood he would be in a smaller role. I do think we retain dixon, jarin and zayden, but this is all just my speculation.
