This one hurt different.
A 15-year-old kid… gone after a basketball game.
But by someone who looks just like him.
And that’s the part nobody wants to talk about.
I didn’t move my son out the environment I grew up in because I was scared of the police…
I moved him because I was scared of this.
The reality where I gotta raise my child…
and at the same time hope another child don’t take his life.
That’s not okay. That’s a crisis.
And where are the politicians now?
They loud when it’s convenient.
They loud when it trends.
They loud when it gets them likes.
But when our kids are killing each other?
Silence.
If you only speak on certain violence…
then you’re not about justice.
You’re about attention.
Because real leadership means speaking up
even when it’s uncomfortable…
even when it forces us to look in the mirror.
This is bigger than politics.
This is about our kids.
And if we don’t say something now…
who’s next?

High Point G Chase Johnston hit the game-winning bucket in their upset win vs Wisconsin with Acts 20:24 on his shoe.
“But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.”
Acts 20:24
The broadcaster falsely stated the Bible verse was about The Parable of The Lost Sheep, & tried to relate it to the game, but who cares, I’ll take as much Bible and Jesus in the game as possible 👍🏼
