If my son was murdered and the police watched over him, mocking him, whilst he bled to death I would have agreed to release the footage too. I would do so knowing, hoping, that everyone would be so shocked and disgusted that it would bring about change. I would welcome comments about the state of policing, which is why I would include them in my statement outside of the court, especially from leading political figures throughout the globe.

I think we all know why the footage is in the public domain and it’s not to encourage silence and inaction.

🚨BREAKING: SAUDI NATIONAL ATTEMPTS TO MURDER A WHITE BRITISH MAN IN AN ‘UNPROVOKED’ ATTACK

On Thursday 4th June, Almunthir Daqamah, 21, fired a crossbow bolt directly into the stomach of unarmed campus safety officer Robert Tytler, 51, at point-blank range after being asked to leave Manor Park Student Village in Guildford. The bolt tore violently into his abdomen in a shocking, unprovoked ambush around 10am.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The Saudi national, has been charged with the attempted murder of campus safety officer Robert Tytler, 51.

Robert Tytler was airlifted to a London hospital. The bolt caused significant abdominal trauma, but — in what prosecutors called a “miraculous” outcome — it missed all major organs and his bowels. He remains in hospital but is now in a stable condition and recovering well 🙏🏻

Daqamah also faces charges of possession of an offensive weapon (the crossbow), two counts of possession of a bladed article, and possession of Class B drugs (marijuana was allegedly found on him).

Police continue to insist there is nothing to suggest the incident is terror-related 😑 despite the cold-blooded nature of the attack on a quiet campus.

How about racially motivated? If a White British man had done this would they claim racism!
