@MartinSLewis Thanks to you posting about this the other week, I left O2 yesterday and I'm now enjoying a cheaper plan with another provider. These companies will only learn when we hit them in the pocket
@JoeR7511@ohree_@Ebuyer They cancelled mine as well, despite me getting an order confirmation and pending charge on my card. Apparently their systems just went totally gaga and allowed orders for stock that didn't exist. Very disappointing! Of course, now the prices have all gone up. How convenient!
@CooperativeBank My mortgage switches to full variable rate on 1/3/24. I want to reduce my payments by making one large payment, but it's impossible to get through on the phone. When do I need to make this single payment by for it to affect my next monthly payment due 16/3/24?
UK consumers need to be protected from companies like EE that raise prices by 14.4% and 3.9% on top. Other utility sectors like gas and electricity arenโt allowed to bump prices through an agreed fixed term. Itโs time for @Ofcom and @michelledonelan to wake up and act
@tomwarren@Ofcom@michelledonelan It's absurd. They ask you to commit to a contract, which you can't get out of without paying a fee, and then somehow they're allowed to raise the price part way through it?
@monzo For anyone else wondering, go to Plus tab, scroll to bottom, and tap "Settings" (which for some reason is also labelled terms and conditions), then "Cancel Monzo Plus", and tap through several more screens. I don't like moaning but this whole thing feels like a dark pattern.
@monzo Opened the app to this really ambiguous screen. Now I'm opted into a Monzo Plus trial with apparently no way to opt out until the end of the month? Not good UX, guys!
@monzo But that doesn't really answer my question. I didn't want to be opted in and now I can't opt out. This should be optional. Can you fix this please?
