This evening, Governor Uba Sani visited the family of the late Ummulkhairi in Maraban Jos, Kaduna, to extend his heartfelt condolences.

He met with her husband, Malam Aliyu, and other family members to offer support. The Governor explicitly assured them that those responsible for her murder will be brought to justice. He also committed to personally assisting Malam Aliyu and caring for the children she left behind until they reach adulthood.

Governor Sani assured that the 41 suspects already detained will be prosecuted, and that efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining suspects. Additionally, he stated that a comprehensive investigation is underway to ensure that any police officers suspected of involvement are held accountable.
