The problem of the fuel subsidy removal by Tinubu is the corruption aspect of the subsidy and that's why Peter Obi said that as president he will first remove the corruption aspect of the subsidy.

It takes one day to fight corruption. If the head is not corrupt then everybody will sit up. If Peter Obi becomes president and says anybody who becomes involved in subsidy corruption will go to jail and the people know he is serious, they will not be involved in the corruption.
