A piece of advice to anyone with ears:
If you are a nurse, a doctor, a health worker or a care worker in any professional capacity, please I beg you do not post videos like this where you are partying hard few hours before you go to attend to unwell, vulnerable, dying, helpless or sick patients.
I expect that the usual dumb clowns on social media will applaud something like this because they never think beyond the superficial on any matter, but if a patient under your medical/nursing care dies or develops a serious complication due to suspected negligence, and the family decides to sue/take it up, they can use reckless videos like this to argue a case of deliberate medical negligence on your part. Smart lawyers will argue, quite rightly so, that you intentionally chose to put patient’s lives at risk by your actions.
In addition to that,
Your professional body can suspend and/or withdraw your practising license for gross unprofessional conduct if an official complaint is made against you purely on grounds of wilfully putting the lives of vulnerable patients at risk.
Imagine your mother is sick and dying in hospital. Then you come on social media to find the nurse attending to her in the morning shift, posted herself clubbing hard till 3am just few hours before the shift. Will you not worry about your mother’s safety? If your mother died on that nurse’s shift, will a part of you not wonder if the nurse was negligent?
Nigeria is lawless so there’s a lot of daily madness that is easily excused and overlooked. But please I’m begging you, if you are a professional working in healthcare, whatever your role may be, and if you work in a sane sensible country, or even if you work in Nigeria, I’m begging you:
Please don’t make yourself a scapegoat and don’t lose your hard earned license because of a few likes online from empty-headed olodos who celebrate reckless crap like this, that can get you in serious but avoidable professional trouble that you will regret for a long time.
You are a professional.
You are a health professional.
Human lives are in your very hands.
You must never forget that. You can’t afford to be posting reckless videos that may suggest that you are intentionally putting vulnerable people’s lives at risk with your deliberately stupid decisions.
A lot of people’s visas are expiring soon, and many are still searching for a CoS.
Can we use this thread to share the legal options available to stay in the UK? Whether it’s switching visas, job search tips, or routes people may not know about.
Drop what you know. Let’s all learn. 🤝🇬🇧
I saw 👀 a post last week where someone paid £18000 for COS (Work Visa in the UK 🇬🇧) in a construction sector.
The company sponsor licence was revoked and they’ve been given 60 days to find another visa or they have to leave the UK 🇬🇧. I also learnt the wife is heavily pregnant. They don’t have any money at the moment.
Why would someone pay £18000 for COS ? If I have that £18000 and I’m looking for visa, I would rather use it to go for PHD in New Zealand or Canada rather than paying for such.
Unfortunately, no refunds and they can’t even report to police because what they did isn’t right in the first place.
Don’t pay for COS, most of it are usually scam so that you don’t end up this way.
All the best.

My dad taught me a brutal lesson about money using just one word in a bank transfer description.
A few years ago, I was broke and asked him for ₦50,000. He sent it immediately. But when I checked my banking app, I saw the transfer narration: “Borrowed.”
I conveniently “forgot” to pay him back.
Months later, I needed another ₦50,000, so I called him expecting an easy yes. Instead, he asked me, “The first one you borrowed, have you paid it back?”
I laughed it off and said, “Babam, I thought you dashed me (gifted it)!”
He didn’t laugh. He simply said, “Go and check the transaction narration. I wrote ‘Borrowed’ for a reason.”
Message received, he was teaching me accountability.
Fast forward to last year, I was trying to open my own shop and needed serious capital: ₦2,000,000. I called him nervously, asking to “borrow” it, already expecting another lecture.
He sighed and said, “I don’t have ₦2,000,000 right now, but I’ll send what I have.”
A few minutes later, my phone buzzed with a huge alert. I quickly checked the narration, holding my breath.
This time, it didn’t say “Borrowed.”
It said “Support.”
He didn’t expect a single naira back, he just wanted to know I was ready to build.
Happy Father’s Day to the man who knows exactly when to hold me accountable and when to lift me up.
(Engr. Awe, if you ever see this… I love you, and I’ll definitely make you proud, more than I’m already doing 😂)
Fathers have a unique way of teaching us textbook lessons without ever opening a book. What’s the toughest or most valuable lesson your dad ever taught you about money or life?
🚨 Calling All Nigerians in the UK – Urgent Support Needed 🇳🇬🇬🇧
We have just received heartbreaking news about a Nigerian family in Plymouth whose home was completely destroyed by fire.
A 10-year-old child is currently in the hospital
The other two children are temporarily staying with friends
The family has lost everything including passports, important documents, clothing, and personal belongings.
This is a critical moment for us as a community. The family is not entitled to public funds, so they are relying entirely on support from people like us.
We are calling on: 🙏🏾 The Nigerian community in the UK to come together and support with donations
👕 Anyone who can provide children’s clothes, shoes, and essentials
💷 Financial contributions from the @NIUKCommunity purse and individuals
They have also set up a GoFundMe and please let’s support and give whatever we can.
We also urge the Nigerian Embassy @Nigerialondon to urgently reach out and provide necessary welfare support to this family during this difficult time.
Now more than ever, we must stand together and show what it truly means to be a community.
If you can help in any way, please reach out immediately.
Let’s come through for our own. ❤️🇳🇬
