@sakagadget Ogun hasn’t “failed to develop” — it just developed differently. It’s basically Lagos’ industrial backyard (Ota, Agbara, etc.). Abeokuta isn’t the economic heart of the state the way Ibadan is for Oyo. Ibadan has centuries of history as a big commercial city; Abeokuta doesn’t.
Why does this remembrance of the people that were killed at the lekki toll gate on 20/10/2020 look so ordinary… no solemnity or visible pain whatsoever.
Just people pointing hand to the spots flowers would be laid like it is an event they’re planning.
Some Igbos are removing Obafemi Hamzat's campaign posters in Lagos.
This should not be happening under our nose as Yorubas, this insults and disrespectful behaviour must stop.
Igbos don't have the rights to dictate who we wish or chose to rule us in Lagos.
I hope the authorities are taking notes because when this attitude is no longer tolerated and Lagosians start fighting back nobody should come online and be shouting "Tribal Bigotry" @lagospidia@jidesanwoolu@drobafemihamzat@LagosPoliceNG
A non-Yoruba woman says she is not ashamed to admit that she is jealous of Yoruba people and openly expresses her admiration for the Yoruba language.❤️🌹❤️
