I guess it’s again the economy. Many mistakenly thought the current economy is going wrong and was better 4 years ago. The reality is Trump messed it up (e.g. OPEC 2020), that affected for a couple of more years after he left the office, and
I am paying over 100k for tax. I am okay, no problem. As long as that taxes go and feed the kids in CA hungry or not. Not happy to subside some stupid farmers that voted for Trump and lost money on tariffs.
Honestly, Trump likely causes recession. How many white voters can afford it? Most Trumper voted against their own interests. I think we should leave “blaming Latinos” to Latinos, “blaming blacks” to blacks, etc.
@Kenneth82122659@QasimRashid To be fair, he sufficiently made his anti-middle class position quite clear. I don’t think the absolute majority of whites can afford another 4 years of Trump. The egg price is actually by Trump. Why would we blame Latinos more? All voted against their own interests.
@Breezey_Bri0915@DarlingEbony@QasimRashid I wish they did. In reality, Trump supporters didn’t. That’s why seeing this election is sad. I know some Dems blame for 3rd party voters; but even adding those to Dems doesn’t change the outcome. I think 3rd party voters did their best to be considerate.
@RobertEmmerso16 @marios_universe@QasimRashid To be fair, neither the Latinos that voted for Trump. There might be few but not many. Voting means being a citizen. And, whites.. I guess if they are earning anywhere below 200k as a household income, they will suffer.
@singlepayer1978 @QasimRashid That same white evangelicals transplanted in 20th century created the same problem in Korea, in a little smaller scale. Their harm is worldwide. Without them, the world would be honestly better off. If the world ends, I’d thank them first.
Whatever happens, one thing is clear: Trumpism is now the GOP permanently. There is no battle for the future of that party. It believes different things now and doesn’t think character matters—and Americans appear to have plenty of appetite for it. It has no incentive to change.
