@Vojpel_eszak2@Pekka_Ukki Also I don't know about Árpád's and his generals's mothers but I would be really curious how did women in my family end up with mtdna C in Western Hungary.
@Vojpel_eszak2 A magyar nyelvterület határa nyilvánvaló kulturális határ dél felé. Észak és kelet felé sokkal elmosódottabb minden, de még nyugat felé is a német hatás miatt.
@Vojpel_eszak2 I couldn't understand a thing of course but the cadence, the speed and a lot of words are soo eerily familiar, just like how my grandmother did speak to me.
@Vojpel_eszak2 I really don't understand how can many people (mostly in Hungary by the way) reject the Finno-Ugric ancestry of our language. I will never forget that video from youtube that I watched many years ago where an elderly Mansi woman tells a story.
@NiChiJo13797514@KinderheimRune We evolved to live in small interconnected communities. This is a huge factor to our mental health. Another thing is our jobs. People who try subsistence farming in the modern world almost always tend to have big families. They naturally tend towards having more children.
@NiChiJo13797514@KinderheimRune Yes. Also we as a species aren't evolved to live in cities and work in offices. These cause low-mid level chronic stress and we are much better coping with short bursts of high level stress.
@ProudBavaria I find it interesting that the Carpathian mountains have never proven to be a serious defensive line for the people living in this basin. Huns, Avars, Hungarians, Mongols all managed to get through seemingly with ease.
@hat_lol26@ProudBavaria It is assumed that Árpád and his clan took possession the lowlands along the Danube from Kisalföld all the way down to Tolna. So I think, at least for the Conqueror Hungarians, these lands were the most valuable. Thousands of horse, cattle and sheep gotta drink and eat.
@StevenHeathen@NatureUnedited The other dog(s) should be behind the bear as you probably know so they are not really relevant and the main dog is basically alone. These are clearly not working dogs and aren't supposed to get serious injury just because of their breed. This was a very high risk situation.
@StevenHeathen@NatureUnedited LGDs are supposed to work in groups against bears and wolves and even in groups injuries and losses are very common. So no, this wasn't handled correctly. Also that dog seems to be too reckless to be a good working LGD.
@corvinbot "people belong to communities and communities are necessarily small, local and particular and so end up being different from each other"
This is huge yet mostly forgotten!
