God doesn’t leave confusion in the minds of His people.
“For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints,”
1 Corinthians 14:33 ESV
We must not ‘interpret’ the Bible. I found the best way to read the Bible is to read it like an autobiographical work, because that’s what it is. It’s not a ‘creative work’ to be looked through different lenses of worldview, instead to be read led by the Holy Spirit, whom then grants discernment in your genuine search of Truth, which then allows for true understanding of the text being digested.
We forget how far removed we are from the days where God’s Holiness was on display for the world to see. Israel SAW God’s physical embodiment, yet still basically days later chose creation over its Creator. We have even less experience living in a world of God’s wonder.
His prophecies would have clear understanding with concise answers to who represented the allegorical references within End Time Prophecy. He would not leave such a mystery, while being so clear in all other aspects of Foundational Doctrine. Especially one that He would know would cause such a division within His body, His bride.
“And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts, knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”
2 Peter 1:19-21 ESV
You know what was definitively referenced in the Bible? Being deceived that the time has come and passed you by.
“not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way.”
2 Thessalonians 2:2-3, 6-7 ESV
I’ll conclude my main response with this.. I pray everyone comes to the realization that Christ died for ALL sin and Is King, repents at the foot of The Cross, and receives His Eternal Blessing of Peace in Him.
I find peace in a Pre-Tribulation rapture, which is biblically-sound, while I can’t fathom any peace ever being found in waiting for my behxxding appointment w/ a guillotxne.
“Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”
Luke 18:8 ESV
there's nothing i want more than to get closer to God, unlearn bad habits, break cycles and truly discover who i am as a woman. I want to walk with more discipline, more grace, and more faith. I want to love myself deeper, forgive and honor the purpose God placed over my life
@Hitchslap1 For me? Playing video games..
I do other things, as most people do.. I'm a mom to a rambunctious 10 year old, I read, watch documentaries, family time, fellowship with my church family, work a 40+ hour a week job, love to cook, and well...
@RacialFeminist@slinkynutts@MeghanEMurphy As a christian woman, I wholeheartedly agree. I don't understand anyone who thinks gaming is lame, but is willing to binge TV.
