You interpreted "winning" the war as narrowly defined military objectives. Rather than what actually determines who wins wars which is strategic goals.

You then asked him about which military objectives haven't been achieved and he listed the relevant strategic ones.

@christwine3 @DPJHodges @camdenlox The US previously championed/enforced free trade on the seas through places like the Strait. It profited immensely off this trade in oil taking place in dollars.

Losing the deterrence around free trade here is hugely damaging.
