Trending: Opposing white parents called the cops on a 3yo African-American boy for playing too well against their 5yo kids, and got him removed from the football league, in Florida.
The boy, Nevada, was playing in an i9 Sports Youth Soccer League in Winter Park, against children around 3-5 years.
Police arrived and interrupted the match, only for Nevada’s family be summoned over a complaint against the 3yo kid.
They were first escorted off the pitch and then informed a report came in that their son was making it impossible for opposition players to participate.
i.e. he kept possession, dribbled and scored too much against kids even older than him.
As a result, Nevada was removed from the the team, and the league, with his registration fee instantly refunded by the league management.

Since I stopped talking back at my husband when we’re both angry, I’ve enjoyed a level of peace in my marriage I never knew was possible. 😭😂❤️
I realised that arguing back in the heat of the moment only makes things worse and takes us longer to resolve even the smallest issues.
Now, no matter how angry I am, I give him space to cool off. Most times, before I even approach him, he’s already apologising.
Ladies, sometimes, you don’t need to win the argument. You need to let the emotions settle so you can resolve the issue.
This has worked wonders in my marriage.
When I first saw this photo from Bar Beach of 1971, that smile confused me.
A man tied to the stake, a British priest beside him, soldiers around, and he is smiling like he is in a family picture. I could not understand it, so I had to enquire more.
What I found out is that it was not happiness. There are reasons people do that, and some of them are medical.
For many of those condemned men, smiling was pride. They knew the whole country was watching. Crying would give the crowd what it wanted. So they chose to smile to die like a man.
Some of it was acceptance. By that day, they had already accepted what was coming. The fear had turned into resignation.
Some of it was the prayer. That man in white is a priest, there to assure him of forgiveness. For a Christian man, that last prayer can bring peace, and peace can look like a smile.
Medically, the body also does strange things at that point. Extreme fear releases adrenaline, which can cause a nervous, wide smile you cannot control. The brain also releases endorphins, its own painkillers, which can make the person feel calm and even euphoric. Doctors call that dissociation, where the mind separates itself from the pain to protect itself.
So that smile I kept staring at was not joy. It was pride, prayer, and the brain protecting itself at the last minute.
