if you’re a sensitive person and feel things deeply, it’s really important to be around people who take that into account whenever they need to communicate certain things to you. caring for your nervous system means letting people know how to handle your emotions with care
So as I'm expressing frustration about my game breaking/not working, two of my friends laughed at it
They laughed harder when I told them I spent 6 hours working on it
This is mostly for the people I had met after the fact

attachment regulating behaviour often stems from a fear of abandonment. what I mean by this, is that people who operate this way develop intense anxiety when they grow attached to someone. in order to relieve the anxiety, they withdraw or completely cut ties with the other person
Mom: We're all in charge of our own dishes
Me: [does my own dishes, leaves everyone else's]
Mom: I just got done doing all of *your* dishes.
Me: They're literally not mine but ok
I'm about to start putting the same amount of effort into my friendships as the other person
I keep getting fucking ghosted and I'm sick and fucking tired of it
