There’s a massive difference between the situation with $NEIRO and the situation with ethereum:0xf280b16ef293d8e534e370794ef26bf312694126

People who were around in ‘24 remember that one Neiro was considered the “crime” one and the other considered “organic.” Both had momentum on launch, but the “organic” one got smothered as crime was up only (inorganic buys up only price pressure). It’s important to note that the organic one was leading at first until it got vamped. Binance later listed the “organic” on spot

Contrast with Asteroid, the 200mil runner is more “organic” while the “OG” coin never had momentum on launch (topping like 200k), only gaining momentum now to vamp and was never higher than the current runner in mcap (by a large margin).

All things considered, it’s a lot harder to make the Neiro argument for Asteroid. You could hedge for safety of course, but the argument for Asteroid pulling a Neiro just seems like cope for those who weren’t early enough to grab supply of the runner
