Today, we remember a legend.
On this day in history, Harambe would have celebrated another birthday. An icon that became part of internet history, American culture, and an entire generation’s timeline.
Tomorrow marks 10 years since we lost him. Ten years since the moment the world stopped scrolling and collectively mourned something bigger than a meme.
He became a symbol of loyalty, strength, chaos, unity, and the strange beauty of the internet bringing millions of people together for one cause: never forgetting Harambe.
Everyone remembers where they were when they heard the news. And somehow, a decade later, his legacy still lives on.
Gone, but never forgotten.
Rest easy to a true patriot. 🕊️🇺🇸

Forever in our hearts.
@ChrisDoran18 Something’s gotta give Chris. This is so tough to watch. The effort is there but we can’t go up in the table on effort alone. I bleed Black n Gold, even I am sad to say we’re in the dark days. To keep getting disappointed week in and week out is not easy man.
This is just so disappointing to watch. There has been enough time to adapt. I really cannot stand another game with no points. I understand our star player Wes is out for the season but there are 11 professionals on the pitch at a time. DO SOMETHING!! #Crew96 PLEASE!!!!

I’m not one to usually do this but something has to give. 5 games, 3 losses, 2 draws, 2 points out of a possible 15 is genuinely abysmal. Worse teams are getting the better of us. #Crew96 PLEASE. My sanity is suffering. I appreciate the efforts but we need points. Bad.
@IraqiPMO He died like a DOG. That’s no Martyr, that’s a dog. Incheb Iraqi government. Respect yourself. Do better Iraq, always making the wrong decisions.
@IraqiGovt Fuck that Iranian pig. He well deservedly died like a dog. Disgusting how the proud country of Iraq is mourning a literal piece of shit. Do better Iraq.
@tcrzero@Crew96Times And force the team to be down a man for a minute? They really didn’t make it a big deal, people did. They paused the match for two minutes, and then started play again, not like they stopped in the middle of a promising play, they stopped at a dead ball
@tcrzero@Crew96Times This wouldn’t make any sense tho? The game wouldn’t be a game without the players? I don’t understand why a 2 minute hydration break is causing such an uproar, and why people are outraged. If you had Mo Salah on your team and he wanted to hydrate you’d be all for it.
@Crew96Times That’s fine, you’re entitled to your opinion brother. I just think it’s fair play that they are allowed to refuel to play better. And the league must think so too. It’s not just MLS, all major leagues, The EPL, Bundesliga, La Liga etc all allow for this as well. Simple fair play.
@Crew96Times If anything it helps. Please tell me how different it is to a hydration break when it’s 90°+ out? The league chose to honor it. As a proud Crew fan if Wessam, Taha, Steven, Farsi, or Nariman need to break their fasts to play better by all means they should do so. FOR Columbus!
