Rafa, one post is not enough to express the respect I have for you and what you have done for our sport. You have inspired millions of children to start playing tennis and I think that’s probably greatest achievement anyone can wish for. Your tenacity, dedication, fighting spirit is going to be taught for decades. Your legacy will live forever. Only you know what you had to endure to become icon of tennis and sport in general.
I don’t believe in an afterlife. I think humans create stories as coping mechanisms to bring peace to the insecurity of not knowing what happens after death. I believe this is my only opportunity to exist, and this belief is a significant driving force in my life.
Rafa,
Our battles were passionate, colourful, iconic. They resembled you.
It has been one of the great honours of my life to share the court with you, both as an opponent and as a teammate.
Enjoy your next chapter, amigo. Vamos Rafa, para siempre.
PS: Any finger, you cross 😉
@MitacsCanada @kirtymajumdar @CanadainIndia@AICTE_INDIA@CitImmCanada Even if MITACS has no control over the process, it would be helpful if MITACS could at least favour the students by tweeting considering the gravity of the problem. Otherwise, if VISAs are not approved on time, GRI will be a failed program.
@MitacsCanada @kirtymajumdar @CanadainIndia@AICTE_INDIA@CitImmCanada Also, there was a delay in directing students to apply for the VISA. Most of the students got notified of their selection in December, but the Award letter and instructions to proceed further came only by the Beginning of March.
@AICTE_INDIA@adsahasrabudhe Considering the seriousness of current situation of MITACS interns 2022 who had already booked tickets but uncertain about their Visas seek help from Govt of India to help us. @mygovindia
@EduMinOfIndia@dpradhanbjp ji , Mass request from students to please please urge IRCC , Canada to clear on priority , the Temporary Resident VISAs of Indian students under GSS category for timely completion of their MITACS global interernship 2022. #GivePriorityToGSS
Even I will be starting in May and I don't want things to get spoilt just for the visa issue. In the previous years the process was so smooth I didn't expect it to be like this this year.
