this signals several things at once, especiallg if it's @Teknium who's saying it.
1. you don't have to obssess over "no slop" policy from the start in this new age. you can clean up after once your product has proven itself to be useful.
2. if you're not finding ai agents useful, it's probably a skill issue. find your gap and fill it.
3. hermes is the open source goat.
Is Astra AGI?
1. no
2. yes, in the literal sense that it's artificial, general, and intelligent
3. no, but it's still not doing work like humans do
4. yes, but it's literally superhuman on tons of benchmarks
5. no, but it's subhuman on things that are hard to benchmark
all true
I don't care if you like OpenAI or not.
But you gotta admit they actually think about the people using the product.
Compare that to Anthropic and the difference is night and day.
P.S. Best time to buy a 20x Plan.

often the term "bubble" gets blended into an emerging tech (ai) through various mechanisms.
1. typical ai trade in the stock market that drives insane, unsustainable valuations that eventually come down.
2. tech bros inability to turn a promising tech into useful consumer product to shift the consensus.
3. non-tech bros inability to spot the potential the tech has until a genius jobs-like guy helps shift the lens they look from.
4. then there's the larpers on each side to fuel the tension until it resolves.
pretty interesting dynamic between early adopters and late adapters.
