When I look at the pedigree of the fathers of the early church, I realised that comprehending Jesus is not by academic standards.

Paul, who was very learned, had to submit to be taught by the apostles headed by a fisherman, Apostle Peter!

When Paul was on his ministerial journey in the church in Corinth, he told them:

1 Corinthians 2:13-14 KJV
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. [14] But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

So Apostle James said:

James 1:21 KJV – receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

So I have to be meek. I have to come off my “philosophical” horse and be humble to learn the things of God!

Oh, what a glorious atmosphere of the Spirit we experienced at the last Special School of the Spirit!

From the worship that ushered us into the tangible presence of God, to the ministry of the Word that unveiled the very heart of the Gospel and stirred our hearts afresh to awaken unto the life of Christ, it was truly a divine visitation.

Heaven ministered richly to us. Our hearts were revived, our eyes were enlightened, and our feet were strengthened to walk worthy of the calling we have received.

God is indeed intentional about raising and building a people after His own purpose.

Now, the journey continues.

If we are in Christ, our spirit is new, but our soul is not yet. The soul must be taught newness, and through obedience, its corruption is removed. Corruption is a stain that has become an inheritance in the soul, and the only way to remove it is by obeying Christ.

Proper teaching on new creation realities will not teach that a believer is "saved once and forever saved". It is possible for a spirit that was made alive in Christ at the New Birth to die again and return to a worse state than before if the person continues in sin.

The message of new creation realities can become a veil if it is only a confession of identification. A person may enjoy benefits through confession, such as freedom from demonic oppression or sickness. However, that alone is not enough to possess the life of Christ in the soul.

We have spent the past few weeks, night after night, seeking God's heart and the best He has in His heart for us in this season. We have found mercy to receive grace to approach the Believers' Convention 2026 with a desire for Jesus to minister Salvation to us.

True "new creation realities" teach godliness. You cannot claim to be a new creation if you have not denied ungodliness and worldly lusts. Most Christians are new in their spirits but not yet in their souls. We need to put on the new man to be made new.

You should not remain only in new creation realities while neglecting the process of Christ being formed in your soul. Your spirit was recreated in the image of the new man. However, your soul must put off the old man and put on the new man. This formation is a process.

Some believers engage in many evil & immoral acts because they do not understand what they are doing. Though you are a new creature & may say that you are eternally saved, the acts you engage in can kill you & register something harmful that may be passed down to your children.

And sometimes, those conversations give us new eyes to see: the patterns beneath our thoughts, the reasoning behind our conclusions, and the unseen frameworks that quietly shape how we interpret God, ourselves, and the world around us.
