This is insane, but not surprising to me at all.
It’s EXACTLY why we take privacy and security so seriously.
It’s always an afterthought for people until something insane like this happens.
Prayer apps are critical infrastructure for Muslims.
Building and maintaining them at a high level is essential to avoid vulnerabilities like this.
It also puts all the grifters looking to build in the space just for money into perspective.
How many apps, many of which are also vibe-coded, are prioritising security and privacy when building their apps?
How many of them already have a tonne of exploits?
How many of them would sell data for some money?
How many of them would sell their app to a bad actor (knowingly or not) just to make a quick exit?
You cannot cut corners.
We cannot allow Qu’ran and prayer apps to be owned or built by anyone.
If your priority is not building right by the Muslim community first and foremost then stay OUT of this space.
We have to safeguard our technology.
I will be allowing free guest access to this Sunday's Tajweed course, for those considering enrolling. If interested, please reach out to me well beforehand to make sure you are able to join.

Incredibly rare opportunity to study a subject that is at the intersection of nahw, tafseer, and tajweed with an extremely learned teacher. Can't recommend this enough.

@camsoft2000 @JoshuaRiley01 It might be because you're using sonnet. I tested this with gpt-4.1-mini a while ago and it was relatively speedy.
Tool calls seem to have more latency when using heavy reasoning models.
