If I was @_delconte or @CoachSark I would tell Texas Tech that I’m down to play, if and only if, it’s in Week 0 instead of Week 1. Here’s why:

1. You’re going to win the game against the worst version of Tech, with a QB that has barely practiced. And then get massive resume boost when they dominate the B12.

2. A Week 0 game gives you a big battle testing before Ohio State, but also 2 weeks to prepare for them, and essentially an extra bye for a very long season.

3. The game is a MAJOR spectacle in Week 0 and you get a MAJOR aura boost from standing 10 toes down and winning the game after being challenged publicly.

Make the call and let’s play this game in Dallas Week 0.
