@KennedyAsewie Hi Kennedy. I’m sorry about John and hopes he’s able to get the funds he needs. I just wanted to say Gofundme isn’t really Africa friendly for crowdfunding. You could set up a cause on https://t.co/yAFWBLt68q, a blockchain-powered fundraising platform that’s more Africa friendly.
@maotekabiola Hi Abiola, what you’re carrying deserves more than a bank account number in a tweet. There’s a better way to get people to trust and donate. DM me, I want to help you do this properly.
Innovation deserves more than applause, it deserves support.
We were proud to sponsor Tech Bridge Exhibition 2026, organized by @induzetech where brilliant students showcased technology-driven solutions, creative ideas, and projects tackling real-world challenges.
Seeing young innovators build, experiment, and solve meaningful problems reminds us why platforms like Refreeg exist; to help people rally support around ideas that matter.
To every student who presented, questioned assumptions, and dared to build: keep going. The future is being created by people like you.

Aside from winning the 50 million naira grant during the SVCG program hosted by @NigEducation, I also had a chance to talk about what I'm building and my journey on national TV.
Here's what I had to say!
Today, we’re proud to announce a major milestone for RefreeG 💙
RefreeG has been awarded the SVCG Grant by the Federal Ministry of Education — securing ₦50,000,000 in debt-free, equity-free funding.
This isn’t just a win for us. It’s a win for every individual, community, and cause that has ever struggled to get funding for something that truly matters.
Across Nigeria and Africa, thousands of impactful ideas and urgent needs go unfunded — not because they lack value, but because they lack access.
RefreeG exists to change that.
With this funding, we’re entering our next phase:
• Scaling our platform to onboard more NGOs, changemakers, and everyday people
• Strengthening trust, transparency, and verification systems
• Expanding our reach into underserved communities
• Building a stronger community of givers, supporters, and believers
Our mission remains clear:
To help people get funded, empower communities, and drive sustainable socio-economic growth across Africa.
This grant gives us the fuel to move faster, go further, and impact more lives.
We’re deeply grateful to the @NigEducation for believing in our vision.
The work is just getting started.
If you believe in a future where anyone can access funding for meaningful causes — join us.

Big milestone for us here at RefreeG.
Eiza Innovations, our parent company, has been officially approved by Startup Nigeria and granted a Startup Label under the Nigeria Startup Act 🇳🇬
This recognition strengthens our credibility, compliance, and mission to build a trusted, transparent fundraising infrastructure for Africa and beyond.
We’re just getting started.
