A national assembly speaker involved in political campaigns for UDA.
A senate speaker actively involved in UDA campaigns.
How are the two supposed to remain neutral and objective in the house proceedings.
We are such a peculiar country. Our political sphere is a joke.
Escaped enslaved man, Gordon, also known as 'Whipped Peter,' shows the scars on his back in Louisiana, 1863. The Trump administration ordered the removal of this photo, along with other signs and exhibits related to slavery, from several national parks.
This image, taken in 1863, shows Gordon, also known as “Whipped Peter,” a man who escaped slavery from a Louisiana plantation after enduring years of brutal abuse. The scars across his back tell a story that words alone never could.
After making a dangerous journey to Union Army lines during the American Civil War, Gordon underwent a medical examination where photographers captured the wounds left by repeated whippings. When the image was published, it spread rapidly across newspapers in the United States and Europe, becoming one of the most powerful pieces of visual evidence exposing the cruelty of slavery.
For many who had never witnessed the realities of slavery, this photograph shattered any illusion that it was a humane institution. It helped strengthen support for the abolitionist movement and encouraged many Black men to join the Union Army in the fight for freedom.
More than 160 years later, the photograph remains one of the most important historical records of slavery ever created. It is uncomfortable to look at, but history is not meant to be comfortable. Images like this remind us why preserving historical evidence matters. They allow future generations to understand not only the suffering people endured but also the resilience and courage of those who survived and fought for freedom.
In recent years, reports that this photograph and other slavery related exhibits were ordered removed from displays at some U.S. National Park sites sparked widespread debate among historians, educators, and preservation groups about how difficult chapters of history should be presented to the public. Whatever one’s political views, the discussion has highlighted the importance many place on protecting historical records so they can continue to educate future generations. (Reuters)
This is anakonda's close ally. The spirit of ABDUCTIONS, TORTURE and KILLING runs through their veins and dark hearts.
Ex-EPRA Boss' Torture Chamber, former Epra DG Daniel Kiptoo allegedly, abducted, tortured and threatened to kill his former employees at Tarita Group for allegedly stealing from him.
Despite the four reporting and police saving them from the hands of the deadly abductors, nothing has happened to him!
We're living in a country of THUGS and CRIMINALS that are protected by the mighty and powerful CARTELS across, who purport to be the owners of Kenya.
I hate the economic state of this nation. I hate the political state of this nation. I hate poverty so much.
It is 2026 but politicians are still using bread & soda to allure people.
Every cycle follows the same arc, hired youth, deniable funders, a security response heavy on rhetoric and light on prosecution of the financiers, then an election that arrives before anyone is convicted. Breaking that arc requires charging the patron, not just the boy who threw the punch.
I need people to understand that when millions of hardworking people are struggling at the same time, that is not millions of individual failures. That is a system.
Nobody allied to this regime who oppressed the people should in any capacity enjoy retirement, they must face the full wrath of the law.
You can’t steal billions and murder innocents and then get to enjoy retirement.
He should enjoy retirement in Kamiti.
Why is kasongo and family so obsessed with clearing our forests ?why are we quiet ? do we all understand the
repercussions? this matter needs some urgency , we need to figure out how to save our forests please .
Remembering all those we lost their lives to an autocratic government that can't handle criticism or dissent of any kind. May they continue resting in power.

If we allow Ruto's regime to sweep all these killings and violation in the name of compensation then we will be soaring seeds of impunity and dictatorship. A killer regime has no legitimacy to lead or to issue compensation for people it deliberately killed.
You will never convince me in this lifetime or the next, that THAT man wrote his own PhD thesis. Never!! Not with the way he structures his tweets. No way. Hata Masters nashuku sana sana.
