Biden has presided over one of the fastest and broadest rollbacks of public welfare in history. In 2.5 years, he’s ended: Boosted unemployment insurance, eviction moratorium, student loan repayment freeze, expanded Medicaid rolls, universal free access to covid vaccine.
The entire liberal commentariat is flummoxed over why someone who is living paycheck-to-paycheck and maxed out their credit cards just to buy groceries isn’t giving Biden high marks on the economy.
This is Carlos Pena. Last year, a SWAT team threw more than 30 grenades into his printing shop, destroying almost everything. Carlos was not suspected of a crime.

We hear time and time again the same excuses being made that these hateful beliefs are held to "protect" women and children, yet the disproportionate application of their actions proves that is only true when it is convenient for them. Transphobia is an excuse to use violence against those who do not conform to societal expectations of them. Nothing more. It is a lashing out against people who are perceived to represent the changing world around those desperately grasping onto the little social power they have left. Just as it isn't enough to just not be racist, but neccesary to be anti-racist, it isn't enough to just be an ally. We must be anti-transphobia as well.
So, something fascinating is happening in the San Francisco subreddit. They’ve basically pinpointed a prolific smash & grabber but the mods are trying to silence victims and witnesses.
