I have faced the same issue, it caused a disastrous panic in my family..

Plz be cautious..
If an oximeter shows fluctuation of somewhere around 10 points within a few minutes.. Then plz check yourself with some other oximeter. A normal fluctuation is +- 1 to 2%

Friends if you are using an Oximeter, please use an authentic and genuine one., buy some brand. Please 🙏🏻

There are lots of oximeters in the market giving wrong reading and it’s creating huge distress and panic situation to patients or families.

Here is letter from FAIMS to PM that talks about separate counter for VIPs in RML Hospital. Even doctors don't have separate counters for beds/tests
